Philip Sadler was born in London and is now living and working in the South Eastern region of England, where he specialises in producing figurative landscapes and seascape paintings in oils, acrylics and pastels.
He has for over thirty years been developing his skills as a plein air and studio artist. He finds that much of his inspiration comes from the delights of the English countryside, especially the area of Southern England where the abundance of the landscape and coastal scenery has been a major influence on his work and choice of subject matter. He aims to communicate his own response to the beauty of the landscape and our brief interaction with it. He regularly exhibits his work in local galleries and at the RSMA exhibitions in the Mall Galleries in London.
